Sunny Gran Canaria
Every time when traveling abroad with my wife and friends, they are
laughing about me, because all the time I need extra luggage to carry
my photography stuff with me….literally one full bag with camera,
lenses, chargers, filters, tripod, lots of cables, drone stuff e.t.c.
One of my friends calls my luggage ‘’ car-boot sales luggage ‘’
On a recent long
weekend break away with my wife and friend to Gran Canaria, I
couldn’t resist taking some time away to take in some of the lovely
sights and capture them through my lens and drone.
The lighthouse on
the seafront at Meloneras looks lovely in the hot sunshine, with blue
skies all around, but takes on a completely different look at night,
almost magical.
A visit to the
beautiful Puerto de Mogan, with quaint little streets of houses, all
covered in colourful blooms and blossom, with a choice of harbour
side cafes and restaurants for all tastes.
You can sit and watch the world go bye, looking at the lovely yachts and boats, whilst enjoying a nice cold beer.
There are plenty of fish to be seen swimming in the clear blue sea, it’s such a relaxing place to be, my wife's favourite spot.
Amadores beach is a
gorgeous white sandy beach, which has something for everyone. Whilst
my wife and friend relaxed and drank champagne in their private pool
at the beach club, I walked around the cove, to the rocks, where I
was lucky enough to see some of the wildlife.
Taking to the skies
with the drone, I captured the cliff side hotel, overlooking the sea,
the passing boats and the luxury beach club.
As always, the time
passed too quickly and our holiday came to an end….so back home to
continue my photographic journey.
To be continued…...
